AIRPORT – Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport
TRANSFER OPTIONS – A Seaplane or Helicopter can be arranged. Land transfer services can also be arranged with a choice of a car, van, SUV or a luxury car.
After touching down at Sri Lanka’s main international airport, hop on a Cinnamon Air seaplane for a 45-minute journey skirting the blue skies until you touch down at Koggala only ten minutes from the Cape. Those who prefer to travel overland will find their road takes them from Colombo Airport along the Southern Express for 2.5 hours.

Cape Weligama is close to a string of waves, which dot the southern coast of Sri Lanka. There is an untouched reef break in front of the resort, which is only a paddle away. Access is hard unless you are staying at the resort so you are guaranteed an uncrowded break.
Weligama is a great spot for those learning to surf or beginners but intermediates and pros will also meet their match thanks to the nearby reef breaks that throw up some fun challenging conditions.
This region is littered with hidden reefs and long sandy-bottomed point breaks – like Rams Right, The Rock, Lazy Lefts, Weligama, Plantations and Mirissa Point which serves up high quality waves. Those who want a heavier wave can head to the nearby break of Hikkaduwa.
