Uluwatu – One of Bali’s most iconic waves, magical Uluwatu is a world-class left-hand reef break that holds a special place in surfers’ hearts. Situated on the southwestern tip of the Bukit Peninsula, these waves deserve respect and are recommended for the advanced surfer. There are 5 breaks at Uluwatu (starting from the north): The Peak, Racetrack, Outside Corner, Temples and The Bombie, each with a character all of its own, depending on the time of the day and the size of the swell. Each has a character all of its own depending on swell and time of day. Wear your reef booties and enjoy the ride.
Padang Padang – Dubbed the ‘Balinese Pipeline’, Padang Padang is one the best left-hand reef breaks on earth, Padang Padang is for experienced surfers only.
Impossibles – A famous left-hand reef break for experienced surfers with multiple take-off points and lots of room to play.
Bingin – Set in a scenic and rugged location, this shallow, hollow and powerful wave is one for the pros. Bingin works best at high tide and is recommended for advanced surfers.
Balangan – The long grinding waves of this left-hand reef break are best suited to intermediate surfers.
Nyang Nyang – is just down the road – a short, punchy right-hander, what the wave lacks in quality makes up for with the experience. Nyang Nyang beach is considered one of the most beautiful spots on the island, with spectacular views from the top of the cliff. There are 600 steps to the bottom of the cliff, so it’s not the place for a quick surf but guaranteed its probably free from crowds.
